I'd like to learn how to restring (rehair) a violin bow "in the privacy of my home." Plus I'd like to locate a place where I can get supplies for doing this, such as horsehair or the synthetic "hair." I've already checked google and, while there are plenty of places that will restring the bow, I didn't find any place that sells supplies and manuals. I'm not all that thrilled about shipping my bow off for weeks at a time, and can see a real advantage to being able to do this myself. Pointers, anyone?
