Jerry Vonau has done some very good work on this track. I don't
recommend at all a VM.
Instead, install a vanilla F9

Alvar,
You could also:
-Install on VM with one NIC
-When installation is complete run xs-swapnics.
-The one NIC should be assigned an IP on your network.
-Add a record in your DNS server pointing to the XS IP address on your
network.
