Also, I have several questions concerning how James "holds" a
message while the mailets process. For instance, does James load
an entire message, including an attachment, while it decides if a
user even exists or does it simply read the the SMTP header?
Basically? Yes.
James creates a Mail o

Hi!
Can I import the RFC 822 style messages from my old mail server? I noticed that JAMES
does store each mail in 2 individual files and I don't understand how the file name is
actually generated...

Hi!
Well, I read that JAMES will "soon" (how soon is "soon"? :-) officially support IMAP.
I also read about v3 (I guess v3 will be the version supporting IMAP, won't it?) but
found no information regarding any of both..
Where can I get any? :-)

SpamAssassin seems to be quite a good spam filter - but it's written in PERL. Are

Considering that the NNTP handler doesn't support message cancellation, and
other features, I wouldn't recommend using it for anything other than light

Short answer? You don't.
There is a mail.smtp.auth property, but how do you expect to

Very little so far. IMAP will most likely require changes planned for James
v3. Darrell would be the one best positioned to answer the question.
