I hear this "niche" again and again, but I do not understand it. Isn't
mail the most used medium? Why is James a "niche" product and sendmail
or postfix not? Since JAMES is in Java, it should be even more spreaded

I believe james has moved to subversion (svn.apache.org).
Also, what tag are you downloading? I think HEAD is for the next-gen james
server! Use branch_2_1_fcs as thats the branch for a usable james server. Or
build_2_2_0_fcs for the most recent release.
