Whoops...colour me embarassed. I forgot to remove the old config file before letting it create the new one! The reference is there! Thanks for the help Norman!

I must be daft...I just downloaded 2.3.0rc2 and started the server, and I don't see "smtphandlerchain" in the config.xml that gets created. I've missed a step? > Is there a way to create an external file reference? For example, something along the lines of: > >
