In the past I have had some problems with seamless windows as well and ended up with reinstalling the Enhancement Module. Only the reinstallation did not went completly ok and I saw the ttatdm.exe twice in my TaskManager. One thing you can take a look at is the registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

I'd try using an independent window next, the startup sounds oddly like a seamless window gone wrong. Not sure why the application would enter a suspended state - I'd have to suspect the windows load balancer simply because that's the new factor in the equation, but I really can't think of how
