but with the classpath exception, doesn't that concern go away?
anyway, i guess you did help get us get organized better, thank you for that.

I have a feeling you will also need the 'miscellany' section I posted,
as that looks like it is just based on the stock SVN client and has
the same config syntax. Cool :)

This is a very interesting and involved issue.
I personally have not been following the Mono mailing list like I should,
(and certainly not NAnt), but I know that NAnt in its current incarnation is
wonderful for what we need.
I like MSBuild, but it can be a bit clunkier at times. But I do know, t

Yes, absolutely. I made it clear it was SharpOS choice - I just wanted
something clear which prior to that it was not a fixed license per se. We
got the closure

Yes, but we haven't really gone "public yet". We have a "beta polish" list
we want to reach before going "public". That being said, any one is welcome
to join or ask questions, we just don't want to "invite" others will we have
certain things together.

Just got to set up the IDE settings file correctly. Then Ctrl+A, Ctrl+F,K.
Per file.
And then of course, commenting everything. And then possible renaming
variables and stuff. I can't promise it will be the most amazing cleanup,
but it will be something noticeably different.

We hashed it out a few months back. The major issue was that the #os board
is pretty hardcore GPL, while we oppose GPL. So I guess anything is
possible

I had a *very* quick glance at Cosmos (The IL2CPU project), and they

Heh, actually, subversion does. But as best as I can tell, its a per-file
property. :-( I'll do some research on this before I mess with any
line-endings.
Visual Studio has gotten really annoying about line-endings, it keeps asking
me if I want it to fix them, and I say 'no', but I don't click 'do

This might be a goo dtime to lose history and clean things up.
When I was in charge of Mono's Winforms we had this problem *bad*. The way I
dealt with it was to have a check in with nothing but line changes, so if
someone had old code that needed comparing, they could compare aginst the old

Yea, I think the possible code cleanup is all that is really left. I'll work
on that on my laptop here at work, and I will commit in about 8 hours after
I get off and get home.
I'll work on commenting up some things as well.

As far as I understand, there is no difference between .img and .iso in such
a way that the file extensions would suggest. The real question you should
be asking is, do we think we can release a disk image with a filesystem more
appropriate for optical media...
And yes, we can reformat pre-existin
Once the code is finalized for release I do plan to throw together an
ISO to make it easier to test on PCs that do not have floppy drives

has one :-P)

I just had to fix the bugs.
So now:
* Caps/uncaps doesn't cause any problems
* Caps no longer shifts 1,2 etc.
* '\\' is working correctly
So peoples. What is left todo? The demo console is KICK ASS and is
stable AFAIK. Do we just need to clean up the code?

Turns out the ?86 actually meant the keymap didn't have a definition at
position 86. In other words, '\\' should be in position 86 on your
keymaps. Please go update them:

Thanks for the patch! It appears Jonathan, or someone, applied the patch
between the time you sent the e-mail and the time I processed it... ;-)
I tried continuous integration once, but it became a very confusing process
for me, because there were so many inter-dependencies. For example, if the
AO
Keymapping generation command from VS2005 is missing.
So I have modified the Build Events and attach the patch file. :)
How about to prepare a automatic build machine to check this kind of error?
Thinking that... to do some automatic build, we need to buy a build machine

Some things I noticed:
1. In the first paragraph there is "Our The kernel offers" I think "The"
is misplaced.
2. Afaik there are no ISO images yet but only floppy disk images.
3. The list of the kernel developers should be perhaps ordered
alphabetically.

We have to do one more command. But I would rather leave it to someone
who is more familiar with GPL.

This one is rather crucial: http://www.sharpos.org/redmine/wiki/3/Disclaimer
