I put new callipers on my '87 LeBaron coupe.
Also a new master cylinder. I put fluid in the tank and pumped the piston
with a stick till fluid came out the ports. (then some, as there was dirty
fluid in the used truck reservoir I put on the new master cylinder)
I then put the assembly in the car
I think it was John Spiva that used the bigger reservoir from a D-50 truck
in his car, saying it improved braking somehow.
I grabbed a huge reservoir off an early eighties Dodge pickup (possibly the
same as John did). Haven't seen what it does yet.

If you put check valves (or any device) in series, the pressure/vacuum loss
will be additive.
So, in this case, you will see less vacuum at the controls if you use two.
However, the original poster should check his and the controls for leaking.

So. Then I'm an XE? Digital dash with no boost gauge, voice
message center, but I have the leather premium pump-up XT seats? Or are
those XE options?

I can contribute. I am a technical writer and have dabbled in column

I'd enjoy being a part of such an undertaking for our community.

This fits the way I remember things-we bought an xe new in '85. Just a
couple of comments: All first gen turbo cars had hood louvers to dissipate
heat. All the xt cars came with wagon wheels. I bought mine used and it
had 225 50 15 on it and I was told they were original and as I remembered
Ed,
Under the hood, usually attached to the vacuum fitting on the
brake booster, there is the black feed line to the heater controls. There
should be a one-way valve installed here. I have seen two styles, a large
canister about 2" long and 1" diameter, or a small button type about 3/
