Doubt it was painted,because the whole rest of the car is 100% original
(nothing in the engine bay has ever been apart,pcv valve and all.

I've never seen a 2.5 valve cover painted anything but silver/grey from the
factory, regardless of the car's exterior color. I have seen some of the
silver covers fade to the point that they look white/yellow color. It is

Why does the sticker being in place mean it was painted by the factory?
Doesnt that just mean it could have been painted later??
Ive never seen a valve cover any other color from the factory, other than
black wrinkle, and grey.

Yep, it should. Though you'd need to swap the wastegate actuator out as
well as replace the gasket for the compressor housing. Both easily
obtained from a Garret turbo dealer.

Other than the cross drills for the cooling passages (when combined with
block cross drills, they can drop deck temps by almost 100 degrees)
Past that it's a standard 86 or later turbo cylinder head. After 88
they received the roller cam and followers, but that's interchangeable.
