I recently had my crankshaft cut to 20/20 from 10/10. My son ran it without
oil pressure. I was torquing the main and rod caps. I could not turn the
crank. I found that number 2 rod bearing was too tight. Could this mean the
rod might be oblong? And have to replace the rod?

I have to agree with Chris. I've been road racing my
Omni for 3 season on cross-drilled rotors and have
never had an issue with cracking. The thing you have
to remember is that the holes MUST BE chamfered (or
countersinked whichever term you prefer). This keeps
the heat away from the sharp edge of
1987 Dodge Shelby Charger, no modifications.
The timing belt went out a while back. I've aligned
the sprockets and gears as shown in the Service
Manual, pages 9-16 and 9-19. I made sure that the
rotor is pointing at piston #1. I manually rotated
the crankshaft twice to check alignment. The fue
