Scratch that idea... http://www.harlan-engineering.com/store/store.html The Window switch that Harlan sells here would be better. He makes the most awesome shift lights anyway. I couldnt find this earlier, but I have the same idea with this. This also would make it so I wouldnt have to have a brake light switch to unlock it.

Ok, here is an idea I have. Correct me if you dont think this will work. I was thinking that I could purchase this shift light... http://thedynoshop.net/shift_light.htm I could take the output of the first light and wire it to a relay to turn on the lockup. Then, I could take the last light and wire it to turn off the lockup. Of course, I would still put in a switch so that if the tranny was not in 3rd, it wouldnt lockup. This would give me a 1000 RPM range that I could set the lockup to work in. If I needed to narrow the range, I could always wire one of the relays to a different light of my choice. The only problem I can see is that if you are accelerating slowly in 3rd, when you hit the lock up, it would lockup, and then unlock after it hits the 1000rpm mark. But I think that having it lockup at crusing rpms in 3rd would be the best thing.
