i have a friend who works for mopar flight systems. these are the people who
rebuilt, reprogrammed, and made the MP computers. he can probably run a
diagnostic and or repair the unit for you. if its not repairabel he has many
cores
in the warehouse to use. i had him solder in an Eprom socket in
Turbo car Power modules are the same from 85-87. However the problem is
likely the Mopar Performance Logic Module (which is the year specific
part of the electronics) A lot of them were built on remanufactured
cores that were replaced under warranty.
