Hi all. Questions about putting an A523 into my GLHS.
1st
Motor mount. Transmission motor mount. Is the A523 mount different from the
A523 mount. Which one do I use? I've heard that grinding is required as
well, but I've never found anymore information on this.
2nd
Motor mounts. Which ones
are a benefit all the way around if you want stiff mounts.
They do vibrate a bit though.

Hi all. Questions
Use the 525 transmission mount. The 523 mount won't fit your car as the frame
rails are much more narrow. You have to grind the 525 mount slightly to fit
the 523 transaxle. Its not a big deal and doesn't take very long. Test fit
the mount, then mark it and grind the offending metal off.
In my opinion, if its a street car that you dont want your fillings ratteled
out, just get the solid radiator support mount and the rest with stock or HD
replacements.
If you thought these cars were rattle traps before, wait till you poly all of
em.. :)
