A while ago on the mailing list there was a thread about the AAR 'Cuda style
stripe set being potentially used on the Charger or Rampage and a number of
people that were expressing interest in having one. This theme being discussed
was the classic Mopar musclecar design with a graduated series of vertical
strobe lines stretching across the upper body stripe.

The idea was brought up when someone displayed online photos of the 1985 'Cuda
prototype car that Chrysler considered building. I've seen at car shows and
dealerships that a number of owners of newer Mopar performance cars (and
trucks) have incorporated the same design retro design into their vehicles.

I decided to come up with the quintessential version of a this idea that stays
true to the original design in a much more accurate way than the prototype
'Cuda ever did. I used the 1983 Charger 2.2 / Rampage 2.2 factory decal set as
a general outline and modified it to properly incorporate the exact design of
the AAR strobe pattern into it. I incorporated in an "AAR" typeface of
"Rampage" on the upper rear quarter stripe and a large matching design strobe
hood scoop decal.

It took months of hard work to get things to look and fit exactly as I
envisioned them. I completed the Rampage version first because an overseas
customer of mine expressed serious interest in the new design after I
mentioned it in passing.

Well, I've finally got this new design completed and it's ready to cut. My
plan was to have him install it on his truck first, take plenty of photos of
how cool it looks and then I can debut it to everyone around convention time.
This way I can give everyone an exact idea of what it'll look like once
applied. Unfortunately I can't seem to reach my initial customer and I'd like
to get this great new product introduced soon.

What I'd like to find soon is somebody with a nice, clean Rampage that's been
recently painted (or at least looks like it has) to purchase this first stripe
set (at a discount) have it properly installed (professionally would be ideal)
and have them take a series of photographs of the completed vehicle from all
sides.

It would need to be a solid paint color vehicle that would use a contrasting
color stripe set so that it would photograph well. I would prefer a 1982-83
style 2 headlight front nose and not too many external modifications. A
"Shelbyized" version with ground effects would be fine. These pictures would
be scanned by me for use in ads & on the company website. A lot of people will
see your ride.

Anybody out there interested in being the first one to wear a great new
original Positive Impressions design AAR decal package? I'd like to find a
Rampage owner initially and later on the same thing for the same package for a
Charger.

I'd like to make some progress on it fairly quick so I can finally have some
photographs prepared of it to officially debut it for sale. In the next few
days I'll have the pricing finalized so contact me soon if you were serious
about getting one of these new designs and seeing your truck (or car) in ads.
