Finally got the head off again last night, and encountered something that's
troubling me. Both #1 and #4 Pistons have a small part of their tops
melted, about the size of an almond and right by the discharge valve
relief's. It has the texture of porous stone, not very deep. It looks
almost
- as well as a Cometic head gasket.
