I just installed that new A555
I have my linkage all in place correctly. However when i try to shift to 2nd or 4th
it feels like there is nothin there... it bottoms out on the stick and dont engage..
sometimes it will though.. but none the less it feels as if there is nothin there.
Durin install of the tranny, my friend ( we think) popped out the brass tube that goes
over the cable, at the actual hook up on the tranny "fork" We tried to pop it back in
but were not sure if it went or not. Will that cause the problem? if so can it be
popped back in with it remaining reliable? If not, anyone know the average price on
one, the proper name for that cable and the headache affiliated with its R&R?
