I have smelled many an L body that has sat in a garage or storage area for a
few years and been home to rodents in their ducts. The smell of well-aged
mouse poop and pee is quite pungent. I put poison baits in my garage every
fall to try to keep them down to a minimum because even after just a few
Chuck, thanks. These were great. I think my car is at the 2:36 mark in the
first link. The Shelby Lancer in the background behind the one in full frame
might be mine if this was shot at the Cincinnati SDAC a few years ago.

Even if the lines are all good, check your four way connector, they start
cracking at the bottom where all four tubes go in and after so many years
under the hood, they leak but still look intact.

I can't enter. I placed first in 2007 so once you place first, you have to
go on to the next higher level. That works well because it gives others a
chance to win.

Most knob kits have a variety of insert sizes and you pick the one that
fits.
If I had to guess, I would say 12/14mm. The Shadow, Lancer and Daytona take
a larger thread size, maybe a 15 mm or17mm.

I thought they all did that.
Just kidding. I have heard that if you lube up the workings with lithium
grease, they work better. I was going to try that. If someone helps you fix
it, let me know.

I might expect it to actually handle very well. Having had the pleasure
(tounge in cheek) of owning a Lotus Europa for a couple years, some British
mid engine cars from the late 70s had handling potential for mid-engine two
seaters down pretty damn well. The trick was keeping it running...
looks great, in fact, the only thing wrong I can see so far is the paint
looks a hell of a lot better now than it ever did new... lol.

where does it leak from. When metal gets cold, it shrinks. Radiators are
sealed together with lead so the lead could be shrinking and leaking along a
seam, but it seems that the hot days should build enough pressure to find
that same leak.

The metal louvers in reasonable shape for a GLH T are worth 150. The new
fuel pump is worth around 100. So those two things alone account for half
the value of the car. What milage is on the car? A running GLH T should get
you 1000 if it is in good shape and the milage isn't excessive.

Sundance, both batteries were branded Mopar, manufactured by Exide.

Long Island Rim Repair is still in business and they know our cars well.
They were actually at SDAC this summer selling parts. I picked up a card but
seem to have lost it. Anyone got their number?
