Hey John...that Harrison UL3.5 isn't any better than the others, it was just
grateful to you for pulling it out of the barrel. After a week or so, it'll
remember who you are and treat you just as badly as those other clubs GRIN

FYI, below is a message from GS regarding the change of ownership. It does
not sound to me like they plan on closing the component division any time
soon, and even mention adding another established brand to custom
clubmakers.

Looks like they may be around for a while. I would hate to see them
go or get out the component business. Even though they have been a
pain to deal with from time to time, they offer some good products.

Cub and All,
In the past I know Cub and maybe others have said that the Raven shafts
are an excellent shaft for the price. Just curious if you have tried
them all and which you recommend.

The "machine" consists of two units. One is a dip tube consisting of 1.5" PVC (approx. 22" long) with one end capped. This holds enough Wesley's Bleech White tire cleaner to cover the length of the grip. Second unit is another tube with a section of indoor/outdoor carpeting secured inside the

Does anybody have any comments about PGA Tour Partners Membership?
Couldn't find anything in the archives. Is anybody a member?
My brother joined it and is trying to get me to join ( Sounds like
they offered him a commission). I'm mainly interested in the up to
50% off course discounts.

A few years ago, I was on some sort of list that caused me to get four
similar offers, including the PGA Tour Partners. I asked each for the list
of courses that were participating. Two responded; I don't remember whether
PGATP did, but the two that did were very similar, so I expect the others

I especially like the Raven Hawk shafts. The only problem I have with them
now is that they have dropped the discriminating flexes in favor of combos.
You have to buy an R/S to get an A and an A/L will only give you an low A.
It is almost impossible to get an S anymore. The Raven Low
Hi Mark,
As far as I know, there is only one GCA and the PCS gets automatic entry
qualification. We have a booth there every year. You can get entry by
being a buyer. ie. own your own club making business, and are the buyer
for the business etc.
