I came across the ad for the new UST Harmon shafts offered by GS. In the advertising there was the statement that the particular tip soft model would help draw the ball; apparently a tip stiff would help correct a hook. Any truth to this claim? ED - Original Message - From:

Ed, The common lore is that with a soft tip, the head will rack more closed before impact and the stiffer tip will tend to not. This would support that claim. It has been part of the fitting process for some time. Of course, it all depends on where you start from, with the original swing, but
