Jeremy,
Ok bud, then most of what I said you already knew. I have been
there on those type of heads before, but not that often, thank
goodness. Hey, if they got the bucks, charge appropriately and

I would also suggest that the implementation of high-definition TV has
been slowed due to broadcaster's concerns over the copying of digital
broadcasts. CBS has even gone so far as to threaten to cancel all HDTV
productions unless some technical solutions are incorporated into
set-top boxes
Of course you are right. (Amazing as an ICT professional I already forgot
about the use of DAT for backup purposes. Nowadays in my environment almost
all units are of the higher capacity type)
I *can* imagine that in the professional music area DAT is still being used.

As for better arguments and examples, how about the current problems with DVD-Audio

outrageous copy-protection schemes into the hardware itself? Or what about the extra

was (I think) the inventor of the DAT recorder.
The DAT recorder has never been a success. Also in Europe I think it is

I've built several of the clubs, and I heartily recommend that a
graphite shaft be used if you really want to realize the potential of
this head. I have discovered that you should assume a full flex
difference (10 cpm) between a normal insertion depth and the BOM. My

There is big difference in music and golf clubs. We are not even
talking about the same thing. Ripping off music if used for the purpose
