The "old" Precision Composite Mach 22's changed only 1-2 cpm per iron if you used all the same stiffness shafts. Tom Flanagan was, I think, the first to post that if you wanted to get a "normal" slope out of a set of these shafts, you needed to order three different stiffnesses. for example: 3

Parallel shafts can be any slope you choose depending on the tip trimming you employ. Taper tips are a different animal, the slope is basically preset by the manufacturer.

Don't follow manufactures tipping instructions. Less tipping lowers the
slope and butt cutting only will be close to a flat line for any shaft.
