Jim,   Depends on the cost of the two, and how much you plan to use the machine.  The Mitchell is a better machine in my opinion (easier to use, more accurate, easier to get parts for) and is designed for a professional shop, but the Scotland will work fine for a hobbiest/low volume shop.  In
