Thanks for all the help. I ended up using a hose adaptor coupling for 1/2
leaky pipe. Cut it down the middle with a hacksaw, used a hose adaptor clamp to
hold it together. Used RK's puller with a back-up clamp to reduce the amount of
heat required. Used pencil flame butane tourch on Ti back par

To make the sleeve you purchase a piece of PVC tube with an inside diameter
just large enough to fit

I think the ferrule adaptor is the secret. If you don't have that and heat
the ferrule to remove, it's possible to end up heating the head too much.

soft long enough after heating to remove it easily. You also have to
