I have found on the GS forum Bill Totten's very thorough and specific advice on how to remove the shaft and save the plastic hosel insert on a Ping TISI driver. Using a hot rod, etc. My question is, is there a readily available substitute for the "ferrule shield" that is sold to protect the head
