I'm in the process of reshafting one of these because the "R" flex .370 tip shaft is too stiff for the guy. It freq's at 285 cpm, ungripped. The guy wants something a lot softer. So two things; have any of you been able to remove the shaft adapter without ruining it? I want to save the shaft so drilling it is not possible. I have an after market adapter so no problem there. I got the adapter from evil bay. It's identical to the OEM.
And, I've been looking for a TM Senior flex shaft for the club. TM doesn't seem to be interested in selling adapters or shafts to anyone other than a dealer. Anyone know the flex of the TM senior shaft? I have a couple 370 tip shafts, one 280, one 276 cpm, and a lot of stiffer ones. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks TFlan Oh, BTW; The guy is cheap as well. I had a hell of a time charging him a measly $15.00 for the adapter plus a new grip (even though I popped the old one off). Gotta make a buck somehow ;-)
