I built both a driver and a six iron using the driveway market shaft.
Dug around and found a source for black acetal (aka Delron [r] ) rods, dimensions
of .375 .3125. More flexible than the driveway market rod and a better
fit for golf heads. Tensile strength is rated at 9,720 psi.
