I also successfully can compile parallel siesta-3.0-rc2. I removed my problem
by running makefile once in the following folder to produce V_s.uses files :

It is interesting that I did the same process on centOS 5 with gfortran.make
and it worked. However, I have also installation problem with ubuntu. I do not
know what is the problem of ubuntu? Is the same processes have different
responses from different version of linux?
