I've been discussing this with a resnet guy over the last week or so, and
resolved the problem. Pump is broken (an coincidentally written by
RedHat). Get isc dhcp-client (dhcp-client-3 I think is the package name in
Debian), it works fine. Pump worked on mine until the maintainer
updated it
look for a program called e16keyedit (there is also an e16menuedit). its
easy to change shit with these. just google for them, should be hard to find
