I've never had problems caused by rounded cables.  Just group things in 4's (so 
each group has 2 grounds, 2 data), and you'll be just fine.  They didn't really 
do that much at all for temperature when I was overclocking, but I had a 
fulltower case and plenty of room.

What rounded cables really kick butt for are flexibility in cramped cases 
imho...

Oh yeah, the last Dells I bought at work (Optiplex GX240) had stacked IDE 
cables like I mentioned above.

Either way I'm ready for serial ATA or internal firewire firewire hard drives.
