Yesterday at 10:28pm, Chris Kennedy expounded:

++ NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0: transmit timed out
++ eth0: transmit timed out, status e4660000, CSR12 000050ca, resetting...

Cheap NIC? I take it you used the same NIC before you moved. And in the
same capacity. OOC, did you use it on the same speed network as before?

++ During bootup I receive this error message a good 20+ times:
++
++ modprobe: can't locate module <someModule>
++ modprobe: Note: /etc/modules.conf is more recent than
++ /lib/modules/2.4.19/modules.dep

Type depmod -a. That will do it. Or you can cd /usr/src/linux; make
modules_install

++ My specs:
++ Debian 3.0 -> unstable
                 ^^^^^^^^
That could be your problem. If you want a stable system, why are you
running an unstable OS? Debian maintainers do occasionally put bad code in
unstable. That's why it's unstable. It's for testing and such. If you're
not comfortable with that, try a stable release. Unless you really need
something that's not in the last stable release.
