the only device that comes close to meeting your needs that i am
aware of is the zaurus sl-6000, but that does have an onboard keyboard.
however its full vga screen and usb-host ability without using a
CF slot is pretty much to die for (imho).

the other option you have is finding out if your device (well, i guess
the software on your device) can handle a card like this:

which should turn a variety of devices into the device you seek.
making sure your keyboard is not powered in any way (lit up, say,
or having an lcd innit).

of course, i'd never waste my CF slot on this kinda thing unless
i had an SD wifi card, but obviously your needs are unique =)

have you considered the myriad IR keyboard options which can be
found to work with almost any device?  now there's a port that
i wouldn't mind tying up basically full time..i beam stuff to
other handhelds pretty rarely, and since the IR is typically
too weak to emulate remote controls at any distance...it's begging
to be abused for some purposes such as keyboarding =)
