Hi,
I have a small home network, my
gateway is a linux rh 7.2 running iptables.
192.168.0.2 is my xp machine and .0.3 is my
win9x. every now and then, maybe like
once every two weeks both my xp and win9x cant
connect outside my network for long.
lets say im checking mail, it will only get the
first email then it would time out. Or lets say
I was telneting to somewhere, and after i type the first command like "ls" it will hang, but
some websites would work, like hotmail. Usually i just reboot my linux box or restart
iptables and it would work again, but i think its getting worse. anybody heard of this kind
of stuff? My
linux box will continue working though .0.1 and
if i unplug my linux box
and directly put xp
on the cable modem it will work. so i know its
not my xp box, so
it has to be the linux box. Any
suggestions?
thanks,
Rommel
