I tried to install linux couple of times on my ipaq, and end up messing

Flyers will be available at the organizers meeting this afternoon at 5pm in
the basement lounge of Taylor. If you want to put up some flyers this
afternoon, it is just fine to stop by the meeting and pick up some flyers.
Thanks,
Jeff

We need install CDs for the installfest on Saturday September 18th. Please
burn CDs for Mandrake, Fedora, and Debian and drop them off in the ACM
office( Taylor 1.118(the basement)) before Friday September 17th.
The installfest will be held at its usual time and usual place of Saturday
from 10:
Attn: Patrick Lang
Patrick: I believe my laptop is afraid of install fests. This is
the second Friday before an install fest that the video card has decided
not to light up. I may arrive late but I definitely want a Mandrake 10
installer; my nonprofit is accepting several units on which Li
x86 Fedora Core 2t2 binary isos and network-installable hierarchy are
available via public NFS at:
unix-source.cc.utexas.edu:/export/public/source/fedora/linux/core/2/i386
It should be reasonably fast for on campus users, off campus is a mixed
bag. The NFS server is about as un-busy as you can
I've already downloaded Fedora core 2 test 2 and am burning a few
copies.

Ahh...a gentoo mirror...
Sandia works fine for me with gentoo...I was hoping to find a fast
source for Fedora Core 2...UTHSCSA (my favorite mirror) only has yarrow,
and the others are either too slow, or busy

Oh! good idea. Mandrake 10 and fedora will soon be available from
http://siglinux.utacm.org/~jstrunk/mirror/
Fedora should be completely there as yarrow*.iso within the next 10 minutes.
Mandrake will take a lot longer(within 5 hours).
So, get fedora after 1pm and mandrake after 6pm.

First off, I need someone to put flyers up in Taylor, Painter, and some
in the 6-pack area. I have the flyers already printed and they're in
the ACM office.
For cd's, we still need 3 or 4 sets of the following burned:
Mandrake 10
Fedora Core 1
Please post back and let me know what you can burn.
Me neither...I never really visit the forum...

I have posted two threads on the forum about burning cd's and putting
up flyers. We need all the help we can get with these tasks and
supplies are available. Check the forum to see what needs to be done
and what's already been taken care of.
Thanks!
