I have the same issue but my /usr/local/lib looks like this:
ls -l /usr/local/lib
total 106868
-rwxrwxrwx. 1 root root

I am trying to use Sikuli 1.0.0 on Centos 6.4 x86_64 (kernel
2.6.32-358.6.2.el6.x86_64) as root.
I have following in /usr/local/lib
libopencv_core.so.2.4.6
libopencv_highgui.so.2.4.6
