Hi Kevin,
It is great to hear that your applications are doing well and seeing some
traffic. Load/Scalability issues can be a pain, but it does mean that your
site is getting more traffic, so it is a good problem to have :-).

Hi James,
My understanding is that the deliverable from a 99designs web comp is just
photoshop files - you need to pursue other professionals to get it web-ready.

Hi guys
We are a full microsoft shop and we have been using lucene and other open
source search/indexing solutions.
Is there anyone in Sydney with exposure to Hadoop or other distributed
search applications that we could have a chat with?
Any thoughts or help would be most appreciated

This would be a great resource to build Australia's funding community.
I just got back from beers with Naval Ravikant and he shared with me
some crazy ideas about what he is going to do with Angel list
Sorry to toot Delimiter's horn here -- I just think Silicon Beach
might be interested in this one :) Personally I think Stevens'
comments are a load of bullcrap and I will be saying so publicly. Let
me know what you think on this one -- I'll be following this up.

Only an economist would try to draw such a strong and obviously artificial line
between IT producers and consumers.
The lesson from the dot-com bubble wasn't that IT isn't important...it was that
new technology ventures need to actually create real value!
