Hey Guys Some of you may recall we went live with a job referral service called 2Vouch in September last year, that service was switched off in February following some fundamental shifts in the market that impacted on our business model i.e no one was hiring, so I didn¹t matter how innovative your solution was to get to passive candidates because an ad on SEEK was getting an influx of response.
So I¹m pleased to say that we have licked our wounds, learned some valuable lessons, lost a shit load of money and in true start-up style we are back for more. Our new service is called the JobGenie, some people are calling it a social job referral site [1] or a job sharing site [2]. Basically if you are looking to hire through referrals, you can list jobs (with or without rewards) and request referrals from your employees, friends and contacts via email or share them via Twitter, Linkedin and Facebook you get a whole bunch of analytics on all the referrals and you can receive candidate applications.
