Dear Everyone, A quick note to let you know that in recognition of Easter (and definitely not April Fool's day!). Applications are being extended until midnight tonight.
If you're interested in leaning How to secure a distribution channel with a big player What are some of the standard things you MUST do so a big player can work with you at all How big players shape larger deals to include others to cover holes or value add to their own offerings I'd recommend you take a look at the mentor list and consider signing up for this event. Most of the mentors who are volunteering their time are very hard to get meetings with. Getting a 1-on-1 with them for 20 minutes just wouldn't happen normally. Further the sales cycle for big guys is vastly different from consumer plays, another universe really, to win deals one must understand how they think differently. So if you have a company that's looking to sell its offerings to an Enterprise or Government customer you'd be well served to have some conversations with these folks. http://speedmentoring.floktu.com Cheers, Roger On 21/03/2013, at 1:43 AM, Roger Kermode <roger.kerm...@gmail.com> wrote: > Dear Silicon Beachers, > > I'd like to alert you about a different sort of Speed Mentoring event that > will take place on April 9th at Fishburners in Sydney > > The twist is that it's all about Customer Development for B2B companies > seeking to level up and get a better idea of what it takes to focus their > offering, structure their business, and ultimately win sales with Enterprise > and Government customers. > > The mentors for the event will be folks who have lots of experience on the > other side working for Enterprise and Government and will be willing to > discuss with you what it takes to be successful in landing a deal with a big > customer.
