We are currently developing a prototype sales tool that breaks leads up
by region/suburb/postcode and then again by their current sales stage.
We see this type of sales application being used by companies that:
1. They are looking to attain several clients/customers (typically b2b)
per region, and as such plan parts of their the sales process around
regions.
2. Run 'campaigns' per region, including face to face visits and/or
perform new business development per suburb/region.
3. Break up new business development using multiple roles (Research /
Sales / Assistant). E.g. Assign areas to researchers, prior to assigning
to sales (Suited more to the cold call model I think).
4. Want to run a lean and efficient sales *process*
We have a basic working prototype for a client (Sells products into
stores) but we are now seeking further feedback and ideas before we
consider a SAS re-write. If you (or contacts) have any experience in
sales and would be prepared to provide some valuable insights, via
email, or over a friendly coffee / beer into the above model we would
really appreciate it. Or if you have any interest in this application
for your business, I would be interested in talking to you too. I am in
Sydney this week but normally in Melbourne.
Lastly if you already know of any existing sales tools that break up
sales leads by location please let me know.
