They'll make bugger all a difference.. canned petitions and other
astroturf campaigns never did have a reasonable effect
I hate it when articles lack substantive information. The practice they're
trying to change is what's known as 'evergreening' a patent.
I'd love to get ahold of the actual preliminary bits -- apparently, Novartis
has already filed for protection (through an exclusive marketing rights
agreement)
