No. A colloid is a material suspended in a medium with a different phase. But
if you want to specify what the state of the material and the medium are, you
have to use different terms. For instance liquid in gas would be a fog, gas in

I have never heard of compression distillation. Are you sure it wasn't vacuum

Saw Palmetto is used in many natural breast enlargement programs. It is
often called Serenoa Repens (it's botanical name) which may be why you
haven't heard of it being used for females. I've pasted a small clip about

May I ask what you use it for? I've only heard about it in reference to
prostate problems in males. It never occurred to me that it could have
other uses.

Dumb question time. I see the term "sol" used frequently. Is that short for

What does uS mean, please. So there is a Hanna meter than can in some way
(indirectly?) measure ppm? Or is this just another silvermaker's dream.

Much has been written lately about indigestion, heartburn, acid reflux etc.
In almost every case, this can be alleviated by the use of hydrochloric
acid taken just before meals. We have all been sold a bill of goods for

I sure wish that whenever I gained that I would reduce :-) What a

Got a question. I've heard it said on this list to be sure to use only
steam distilled water. I've always been under the impression that steam
distillation was the only way to distill water, until I did some label

There seems to be an optimal conductivity. Too-pure produces very low yield.

Hi Steve,
I have had similar experience. I have also used Hach ACS grade calcium
carbonate solution, but the sodium hydrogen carbonate seems to work better
with less.
Thanks for your data, it goes in the file.
