I was wondering if there are any updates from those who were using the blue
dye to help the mind with remembering in those with dementia? It has been
some time since this has been discussed on this list and I was wondering how
the effects were holding up. I have a friend I would like to recommend
I don't remember this discussion at all -- and it's vitally important to me, as
my brother is dealing with dementia. So I hope that whoever has this
information will please share it.

If you go to the archives and put in dementia you will get quite a bit. The
dye is methylene blue and one person had good results with DMSO. I hope
what you find is helpful.

couple other things that could help. The essential oils of both lavender and
bergamot have a calming effect on some dementia patients. And a doctor whose
husband has Alzheimer's had heard of a study using virgin co
I also remember an article by Dr. David Williams about using niacin
given every 3 - 4 hrs during the day as being helpful re: dementia. I
also remember an article about the use of virgin coconut oil given
throughout the day helping dementia. You can probably google for
