Probably the best form of migraine control can be found with Biofeedback. I
have known people with serious migraine issues who managed the condition
successfully this way.

I do use bio-feedback it is great unless you wake up with the migraine then all
bets are off. You can get a bio-feedback unit pretty cheap or a friend in
electronics can build one.

I agree with PT! Biofeedback or anything that contributes to the
mind's mastery over the body and pain (like meditation or Reiki) is a
tremendous gift for healing. Also, mastering any of these techniques
will be a great asset during actual childbirth, nursing and mothering
afterward.

Try sucking on a common old indigestion tablet {Quikeze or Rennies or whatever
they're called anywhere else}. Swirl your spit under the tongue while sucking
before swallowing. If it clears faster than expected keep the remainder of the
tablet for next time.

To do thermal biofeedback all that is needed is an indoor-outdoor
thermometer. The kind with a probe that would get put outside. Hold it
between the thumb and index finger and make the temperature of the hands
increase. Hand warming is an accepted way to control migraines and it can
be used
Thanks Sol and Jane. I will ask my husband to change to Iquix first.

I recently read an article about Mg deficiency and migraines. Have you had
your nieces Magnesium levels checked? The best way for this is intracellular,

Tiny I suppose. Or as large as can be easily taped there or stuck to a
metal hair clip. I don't have my magnet book with me otherwise I would
read the recopmmedation for migraines. I think some other people on this
forum have Peter Kulishs book, they may chime in.

Ask her where she feels the migraine starting. It can be the base of the
skull , but some people perhaps experience elswhere. That is where I would
put them.

medications, magnesium, calcium carbonate or something I think is another one,
and the third I can't remember.
I looked into it several years ago cos
