By adding baking soda to ascorbic acid we get sodium ascorbate. That is why, in my view, it is better to use just cristalline sodium ascorbate. Checking effectiveness of liposomizing by adding baking soda we are only detecting the residual ascorbic acid. This however does not say anything how
