I purchased a Greenstar as well. I love my Greenstar too, but don't use it
as often as I should. So sorry to hear about the warranty problem. I do have
a suggestion which makes cleaning a snap. It takes two minutes at the most.
When I know I am going to use the juicer, I fill one side
