I think Steve misunderstands Cold fusion. It is not that there is no
radiation that makes it "cold". What makes it "cold" is that there is very
little energy input to start the fusion reaction.
Without the radiation that comes with the neutrons escaping there is not
fusion.

Yeah, that is right. I am acquainted with a man at Lawrence Livermore,
and they are totally invested in the no cold fusion thing, even though
they have not tried it out at all. Funny how that is.
