Thanks to all who have responded and helped make the list so comprehensive.

The list is not in any order of preference - (apart from #1)

The asterisked ones I haven't got any suggested dosages.

For the dosages I have gleaned, I've given amounts in approx mls as well as
ozs  ( we use the dreaded litres this end of the world!) - trust my maths is
OK


NB Arthritis (either form) takes years to build up so a remedy may take
weeks even months  before an improvement is felt.

Hoping this will be a useful reference to all fellow arthritis sufferers.

  SUGGESTED ARTHRITIS REMEDIES UPDATE

1. Colloidal silver -  start drinking an ounce/day, then double the amount
each day until you are drinking 4 oz./120mls, 3 times per day (spreading out
the CS consumption  through the day). You could even drink another
1/2cup/9ozs/250mls just before bed.

2. MSM  - 5g/day or 10g/day  - eg  2,000 mg per meal (2 caps per meal, 6
caps/6,000 mg/day). Buy in bulk thro' Internet.

3. DMSO applied topically

4. Collastin*

5. Glucosamine HCl  +  chondroitin sulphate*

6. Omega 3*

7. Cider Apple Vinegar - 2t in water on rising, then 2t CAV + 2t
       molasses + 1t >     honey in water, drunk with each meal.

8. B12 -1000mcg injected daily for 3 days,
               1000mcg every 48 hrs for 8 days,
               1000mcg every 5 days. (for how long?)

9. WATER - many glasses per day!
      Divide weight in lbs by 2, then by 8 - this is number of
      ounces/day. An average glass holds 8ozs so divide by 8 to see how
      many actual  glassfuls should be imbibed per day. Each cup of
      coffee/tea or glass of alcohol/squash should be counterbalanced by
      an extra glass of water.

10.Drink goat's milk not cow's milk - preferably form your own goat
       which is allowed to graze on wild vegetation.

  11.Don't eat any of the Solanaceae family (nightshades) - tomatoes,
potatoes,
       eggplant, green peppers, paprika and tobacco;

  12.Restrict carbohydrates in the diet.

  13.Strap magnets onto the afflicted joints.

  14.Take molybdenum supplement*.

  15. Hydrogen peroxide - 35% food grade. Try looking at www.oxytherapy.com
for more info and instructions.

  16. Allergic reaction  to some food - difficult to determine the culprit -
eg may be cheese, tea, coffee, grains. Try cutting out any one suspect for 3
weeks and see if there's any improvement.

  17.  Take a comprehensive mineral supplement eg the liquid mineral
supplement called Concentrace, by Trace Minerals Research, out of Utah. It
is
not sold multilevel, so that is why it is economical. Recommended dosage is
1/4
tspn, 2xday. Has every mineral known to man in it. Find it in Health Stores
or
direct from Terry Chamberlin
.
18.   Cod liver oil. Take* daily and don't eat 2 hours before or after
intake. Preferably use  pure Norwegian CLOil and mix it with a little warm
milk
first thing in the AM.


19.   Homeopathic remedies, eg  Bach flowers and suspensions  of gems
          (they are often grouped together)
