Yeah, that is right. I am acquainted with a man at Lawrence Livermore,
and they are totally invested in the no cold fusion thing, even though
they have not tried it out at all. Funny how that is.

I think Steve misunderstands Cold fusion. It is not that there is no
radiation that makes it cold. What makes it cold is that there is very
little energy input to start the fusion reaction.
Without the radiation that comes with the neutrons escaping there is not
fusion.

Interesting what gets the press's attention. These results are neither
new, nor unique. What is funny is that the greatest thing about cold
fusion is that it gives off no radiation usually, and they make it sound
like giving off radiation is a good thing. That they call the Navy's
A letter to the editor in today's newspaper (Daily Yomiuri) mentioned
a recent success in room-temperature fusion somewhere in California.
I wonder whether that's correct; seems it would be big news if so.
A quick Google did not turn up anything definitive; if anyone knows of
something new
I am not sure why it would be big news, none of the other hundreds of
successes over the last 15 years ever became newsworthy.

This was mentioned here before. One quick url:

Good information on the experiments over the years.
And that is all. No reply needed or desired.

Hi, James,
The phenomena would be easily explained by the
Faraday Ice Bucket experiment.
The coulombic repulsion of deuterons is like the
repulsion of the gold leaves in an electroscope.
The E field inside the noble metal crystal vanishes
like the E field inside the ice bucket.
In both cases,

Remember the Pons and Fleishman cold fusion cell that used palladium?
Well, research has indicated that the effect also takes place using both
gold and silver electrodes! If these papers are accurate it means that
even if absolutely pure water and silver or gold is used, other elements
could end
