AgION Antimicrobial Protection to be offered in Foot Spas by Waterpik Technologies
Wakefield, MA May 13, 2002 AgION Technologies announces an agreement with Waterpik Technologies. The agreement enables Waterpik Technologies to use the AgION antimicrobial compound in their Personal Healthcare divisions foot spa product line. Waterpik Technologies will introduce the first product containing the AgION antimicrobial compound in July 2002. The Sport Foot Spa is designed to relieve stress by soothing the feet with invigorating bubbles and allowing for a stimulating massage, integrating ideas of reflexology and aromatherapy in a warm water bath. Instead of paying an exorbitant rate at a local spa, the Sport Foot Spa allows the consumer to take the relaxation of the spa home with them. Our new agreement with Waterpik Technologies further strengthens our position as the universal solution in antimicrobials for medical, consumer and industrial usage, said Roger Freedman, chairman and CEO of AgION Technologies.
