Nasalcrom...I also used that, but not much and didn't suffer any ill effects that I know of. The main ingredient was chromolyn sodium, which was also used encapsulated in powder form in an inhaler. There were also capsules you could take for food allergies (these I obtained from UK) about 1/2

A warning about zinc in the form of Zicam, which is supposedly a homeopathic zinc formula to stop symptoms of cold or flu. There are many warnings and lots of class action suits due to loss of smell (which then affects taste). That alone should make you think twice about taking it. I used it
