Sorry about that I fixed it. It was a bad nvram file, I was running the
MicroVAX II simulator and the 3900 in the same directory and forgot to give
the nvrams separate names.

I was thinking that it ought to be possible to attach directly to the
host's printer, i.e.:
sim
What OS are you running under SIMH? I’m able to send prints from OpenVMS

Is it possible to attach a network printer to a SimH line printer device
on Linux?
At the moment I am having to do the following:
1) attach -n lp filename1
2) run the program that generates printed output
3) attach -n lp filename2
4) !lpr filename1
Would be nice to just run the program
